LUSINGA
Sweet wine of extraordinary charm, it embodies all the craftsmanship of the great Italian passito wines. In fact, the Verduzzo grapes, harvested manually after perfect ripening on the plant, are subjected to drying in boxes, and then to pressing and slow fermentation. The aging, partly in steel and partly in wood, adds complexity and richness to a wine that is already generous and layered by nature. The nose dominated by elegant hints of honey, jam and exotic fruit on a vanilla background is pure voluptuousness and the mouth, of refined sweetness and luxurious viscosity, is no exception. Giving in to such flattery is not a sin, indeed it is true paradise.

ORGANOLEPTIC FORM
Its color is a brilliant yellow with golden highlights. The main characteristic on the nose is an attractively honey-like perception of sweetness, with suggestions of apricot preserve and dried exotic fruits against a vanilla background. This warm, mellow perception of sweetness is also immediately evident on the palate as a result of the sugars and alcohol, but they are nicely counterbalanced by fresh acidity.
Food pairings
It goes splendidly with cheeses (even blue ones) or with foie gras. It is an ideal accompaniment for fruit tarts, cream desserts or dry pastries.
