Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso has found in this strip of plain lying between the Prealps and the Adriatic Sea a perfect habitat in which to ripen and express the full potential of its bucolic style. Harvesting of the grapes when fully ripe, vinification in stainless steel and maturation partly in concrete and partly in wood are the technical steps that allow us to highlight the wine’s slightly rustic aromas of violets and wild berries, enriched by the balm-like quality of its vegetal notes.
The forthright, extremely tangy fruit on the palate goes well with meat and particularly vegetable dishes, but also fish served in a spicy sauce.
